The room was quite comfortable but lacked
Soundproofing, hard to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. The staff were very friendly, and I appreciated their assistance , though minor service delays occurred at times.

It was a very pleasent stay, the standard is way above what we knew from Kolkata, the breakfast was also excellent. The hotel has a fabulous spa.
The price is quite expensive for Kolkata.

I stayed in this luxury hotel for 3 days, had really nice experience, enjoyed its incredible location next to Pantaloons stores as well as park street city center.
The staff - some of them were not welcoming at all.

We had a lovely romantic escape! The hotel's location is absolute gold, right in the city center near some amazing attractions like Victoria Memorial and the Maidan. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. I really enjoyed the breakfast spread; there was so much to choose from, and everything was delicious!
Our experience wasn’t all roses. Check-in was a hassle since no one guided us to our room and it took forever for our food to arrive when we ordered room service. We expected a smoother experience, especially for a romantic getaway. It left a bit to be desired. it was a decent stay but not without its frustrations.

Complimentary B/Fast & other Lunch/Dinner buffets good value for money.
A la carte prices quite high. Room service tariff atrocious.

Centrally located. Rooms are decent size. Glass door at elevator lobby on each floor and steps at ground floor lobby are inconvenient. Driver hire cost INR1600 for 5 hours--you can probably find better value elsewhere.

Knowing Calcutta, I chose the Kenilworth for its location, being in close proximity to the friends I wanted to visit, and the places I wanted to see. My stay at the hotel was pleasurable - the rooms were spacious and clean, the staff were efficient, courteous and friendly, and dealt with all my requests immediately, and I enjoyed the treatments at the in-hotel spa. I will certainly recommend the Kenilworth to any of my friends travelling to Calcutta, and will stay there again on future visits.
My one small complaint - there was no choice of pillows (I enquired). The hotel pillows are large and high, while I prefer soft and flat.
